Buffalo is booming. My 401k is booming, fuel costs, interest rates, and housing prices are low.

I am envious, serious. I wanna be a yes sayer but I live in the biggest economy state in the U.S. where they have excuses for gouging everybody be it refiner re tooling or NAV butterfly farts analogy. Iron ore is still shit if you look at any stock chart. Want to see something sad look at (KIROY) South Africas highest grade ore. Or just (BHP) for that matter. 5 years ago it was a 90 dollar stock, now 38 bucks. I say this regarding your previous post about steel chugging along. CNBC wants us to believe 2.9 GDP based on Fed numbers but I am very suspicious since real inflationary items like energy and food are excluded.

Some gas stations in IL and the STL area have gone up $.40 this week. IL is $3 in some areas.

I just re-read this thread, everyone is complaining about gas prices, and remembered something from a while back. The one thing I didn't see anyone mention is the speculators and their effect on the price of oil. I remember a while back when oil prices had gone through the roof...'08-09? The .gov started to check into the speculators and suddenly the prices started going down quickly. So, the price of oil is also effected by those folks.

Will it take out $40.00?
A $15.00 drop in 2 months... That's fascinating to me.

I paid $2.62 yesterday for regular.
If it wasn't for them propping prices up for summer, We'd be below $2.50 by now.

Heh, the price of oil drops significantly yet the pump prices don't. It's amazing how that works.....or doesn't.

I don't know about you, but I'm loving filling my tank up for $42.00 rather than $64.00.

Enjoy it because low gas prices are here to stay for a while.
