I'm just not wired that way. Remember, I'm on the inside looking out so I am aware of the details. Yes, she left and it is devastating, but there is history behind it and in the end she has been way beyond fair and supported me for the last 7 months. Not many would do that.

I am distracting myself from the whole divorce by aggressively looking for a job and I also started jamming with a new band so that will help a lot.

With that said, if you keep longing for the past and looking in the mirror you are never going to see what is in front of you. Be sad, have your moments where you grieve... but don't let it own you. I am going to whip out my psych minor like a mofo. Based on what you say above (and in other posts), you are blaming yourself. Even after all of this, you still have her on a pedestal. You need to STOP. Until you stop doing this, you don't have a chance. You won't let yourself move on. There really is a lot of truth to the call her "that bitch" method.

Look ahead, not behind.
