Default Polls

So I know polls don't mean much until after the conventions, but the trends they show do. If you look at Rasmussen for the week, it has shown Romney up 4 - 5%. Here is today's;

If you don't like Rasmussen, then take a look at the Real Clear Politics rolling average which include all the left wing controlled polls;

RealClearPolitics - Election 2012 - General Election: Romney vs. Obama

What was once a 6 point lead for Obama is now down to 1.3% nationally, he is dropping, Romney is climbing. What is very telling is that Florida, Ohio, Michigan and Virginia will be in red on the next publication of the polling data as all these polls now show as leaning Romney. But there are two states that stand out and one very surprising one may hold the key.

First, New Hampshire which has always been a double digit lead for Obama is now a toss up and is considered a battleground state. That is a huge turn around in the political thinking in that state. The polls show that the people of New Hampshire have taken a position against Obama's small business statement.

But with things starting to look like a statistical tie, one state may be the key, the state of Nevada. This state was once a 17 point lead for Obama and is now a toss up. With a large Union population backing Obama, the local business leaders are now backing Romney following Adelson's lead. This brings us to the one voting block that no one is talking about, not the Latin vote or the black vote, instead the MORMON vote may be the road to the White House.

Nevada has the second highest percentage of Mormons to population of any other state, almost 200,000 of them, most registered voters as being involved is part of the belief system. Mormons don't participate in polls and don't tell others how they will be voting, but I assure you the VAST majority will be voting Red this year and in a state with about 900,000 registered voters, this is a huge impact.

I don't want to hear haters complaining about Mormons voting for a Mormon, it's like blacks voting for Obama. Wouldn't it be ironic if the election is decided by folks voting for Romney based on his religion rather than Obama based on his color?

If the economy keeps going at it's tepid pace and BHO keeps up his shucking and giving bullshit he is dead. BUT if a world crisis erupts in the ME or someplace else that can throw it back to him.

The real problem is we have hit a major crossroads in America. For the first time in history we have the Majority of Americans not paying federal income taxes. Couple that wuith the massive amount of people getting a check from the government ( up to 40%) and you have a sizable percentage of the population that will vote for thier own rewards. And that means BHO.

Then you have people like me who hate polls so much that, when asked, respond exactly opposite of the way I will actually vote.

Most of the polls out there are for or by the MSM. Those bastards have their heads so far up obamas ass, and are de facto a part of obungholes reelection group.

For that reason you cannot trust most polls. The only poll that really counts (if we have an honest election) is going to be held on a Tuesday in Nov.

Big headlines year back by the media Dewey beats Truman, think of that if you tend to trust polls or the MSM!

I hope not. But look at the tools and fools who voted for him last time. The Independents who felt it was time for a Black President yet failed to research that he was a Socialist at best and with no accomplishments. Add to that the Fawning MSM and if we do have a crisis BHO will be made to look like a GOD for doing whatever he will do.

Look at the positive press he got for FAILING to help to protesters in Iran then for condoling the Arab Spring and his "Masterful " handling of Egypt The MSM WANTS him back.

I don't know about that. Of that group, there is a good percentage of those that are not happy with the fact that they are on assistance, I'm sure there are many that would rather be working and independent. How many, I have no idea, but I'm sure it's a decent amount. I also know that there that are some rightfully on assistance, I don't think their vote is a slam dunk for the Prezie, they had assistance before and will have it still. I do feel the scammers will try to keep him in office as will those that don't truly understand Obama care and think it's something for nothing. I think most of us here are good with some form of assistance, just not at this level and not unchecked.

Also, these people have already determined their vote and should be reflected in the polling data. The real voting block that will influence the end result are the est. 8% - 12% that are independent voters. Independents overwhelmingly go against the incumbent historically.

I am against ALL forms of welfare. Individual and Corporate. It is subsidizing failure and has always been the death knell for any civilization.

While the motives are good once a government handles any money it is power. and power always corrupts.

There maybe some getting their check from uncle Sam who will vote against BHO but it will be the small minority. To many are now dependent. If Mitt gets into office the entitlement programs they all depend on is going to get cut. It's just too much money going down a rat hole. And if it's not cut we are doomed.

Mormons claim 14 million people. That's damn near enough to offset the obama vote from Canada!
