Default WTH is wrong with me?

This has been going on for 2 weeks. I'm just tired...all the time. Twice last week I overslept. I drive to work kinda bleary-eyed, come home the same way. I could hardly stay awake this afternoon at the office. Last night I went to bed at 8:10, still didn't want to get up this morning. Right now my eyes are itchy and tired.

I missed a day of work last week because I had some 24-hour virus or something. I wonder if it's related to that. Appetite is off, but losing no weight. Nothing unusual has happened in my life. I have my semi-annual checkup Tuesday, but I doubt that the doc will have any revelations for me.

I even considered depression, but I don't feel sad or morose--just tired. Besides, I've never been diagnosed with depression before. Friends haven't mentioned any change in me. I'm just feckin' miserably tired!

I had a very similar problem. Ask your doctor to check your Vitamin D level. Mine put me on a 8 week regiment of 50,000 once a week. After that I take a multivitamin and two 1000 doses of Vitamin D a day, one in the morning and one in the evening.

Since I've started taking the Vitamin D, I don't get groggy, I get my usual 5-6 hours of sleep a night and don't run out of energy during the day. Overall I feel much better even when the stress kicks it up a notch.

My father had major fatigue issues awhile back. Turned out to be his liver. Though he was a heavy drinker.

You still can't cope with the fact you're old.
Try getting less sleep.
The older we get the less sleep we need.
I think I read that somewhere.
