I can't convince hubs to put up lights, might have to pay the "guy" like Razzle Dazzle does. Will try to get the tree put up today. It's a monster 9' (artificial). If it wasn't for the grands, I would be totally OK without the Tree hassle.

I put our tree up yesterday. It is a large artificial tree that we store in our attic. It is a bit of a pain to get out of the attic because of the size of the tree, but I love Christmas trees. The spousal unit hangs all of the ornaments and the tree always looks great. She is about half done hanging ornaments. She should get done tonight.

Putting up lights outside takes a while, but the spousal unit loves them, so I do it. I like them to though.

I have a 4' pre-lighted tree that comes out of the attic once a year. We also have a 7 footer but that one needs to be assembled - TMW.

One of my neighbors asked why I won't put up lights on the house for Christmas. I jsut told her to get off my lawn....which she expected to hear.
