How do you forward...

a message on gmail? There's no button for it like on yahoo.

Open an email, look at the top-right and you'll see three vertical dots. That's "More". Click that and you'll see Forward as one of the options.

Open the email you want to forward and look at the icons along the top of it. You'll see a trash can, clock and such. At the end there are 3 vertical dots. Click on them and a drop down menu appears, you'll see forward all listed there.

EDIT: Damn, Cyber beat me by a minute!

When I click on the 3 dots, the drop-down says only "Forward All." When I click on that it says "Discard Reply?".

Pack up your computer, put it in a box, mail it to the recipient and give them your mail credentials. They should be able to read the message just fine. Then have them ship it back.

Yes.

Gmail has a feature called "confidential mode" which will prevent an email from being copied, forwarded, or printed by the recipient. The email will also expire and be removed from the recipient's inbox (time limit is set by sender, anywhere from 1 day to 5 years).
If this is what was used, you should see a "Content expires xx/xx/xxxx" note on the email.

If the email didn't originate in Gmail, MS Outlook also offers a similar function that can prevent a recipient from forwarding.

Gmail has a pending update that will FINALLY add Forward to the dropdown box when you right click a message in the inbox. Currently it only has Archive, Mark as Read, and Delete.

I've been using Google's Inbox instead of Gmail but it's going away in March and Google has been porting some of its popular features to Gmail (which IMO needed it badly).
