I too thought the meeting was one of the best.
I think the crowd really enjoyed my one line opener:
"If you are sitting here hearing this; thank a heterosexual couple."

I know it went over the heads of waitstaff and personal security teams, but, I guess they all cant be as handsome or extremely brilliant as us.

I agree. That was a great one. They also liked my one liner "we are all here because we aren't all there."

She was a pretty vocal and would bang on the bedroom door in the mornings if we didn't feed her according to her schedule. We had her for about 12-13 years and she was maybe 4 when she showed up at our house after a winter storm.

I was lucky to find a vet open on Sunday. She was doing pretty well but we could see that the tumor was growing over the last few months. Sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning it ruptured and was oozing. There was nothing more we could do for her. She was making some of those Owwww, Owwww, sounds that cat's make when they're in distress. Those sounds break my heart. She's burried out back now.

There were more confused looks than I anticipated, and, reinforced my ideology that .gov workers are cheating to gain MENSA entrance.

I'm currently working on two posters that will require a brief explanation before we allow anymore .gov workers in the group.
