Default 1962 Imperial dash.

Would like to have a flat bottom steering wheel in my next vehicle but I doubt it.

You can buy them (flat bottom sterring wheel) after market. I have one on the 2000 vette.

Chrysler Corp. had some of the most iconic designs of the day. There interiors were fabulous. Those dash’s were lite with electroluminescent which was basically a continuous “hot wire” and the first basically back lite if you will dash. I had a 1966 Charger that had this same lite dash—very cool.

When the dashboard itself has tailfins, you know you're in high cotton.

My dad had that on a Polaris. He drove 20 miles back to the house in second gear after we got it unstuck one day (fell thru the ice). That car was totaled at an intersection a block from the dealer as he was going to trade it in on a new car. Not a lucky car.

I'm confused. Polaris is an off-road side-by-side quad, not a car.

Was your dad driving a Dodge Polara off road, per chance?

And where is Big Bob, speaking of totaling vehicles. Did he get banned?
