If you have the automatic leveling suspension (known as SLS) and it goes out, figure around 5 grand for repairs. Ignition coil packs on a V8 can be as much as $2300 and that's not counting labor. I'm not even going to talk about the V12 (which is no longer made). When I had my Lamborghini, a new clutch was an "engine out" procedure...$6K. Thank God I never had that to deal with. That being said, when you step on the gas and the car makes "that sound", it all seems worth it. The car you have is not near the bleeding edge of AMG's lineup yet it's still blisteringly fast and gives a superb ride. Keep up your regular services and you should be just fine. |
