So went to "diagnostic" center for blood work. Wrong name it's full of cashiers then they take blood if pay.

Immediately after called to counter, no let me show you what's going on...
Her: i see you have a 5k balance how would you like to pay that today?
Me: wait wut back the train up and no i ain't paying that.
Her: you're pre approved for this credit card and can pay right now (hands me an application)
Me: you can put that back in display as not a chance i pay 30% interest (I'm fuming now and about to go postal)
Her: well i can see if they'll take 10% down payment
Me: i ain't paying that either as I'm already paying the er bills(which were alot less)

Now she hasn't said 2 words yet about what it's for just insurance payed(as in past tense) this much you owe this.

After i calm myself i ask her wtf is that amount for.
Oh your procedure, ok which one It'd better not be for scope last week or I'm talking to someone aka somebody getting an ass beating for 5k bill and 12 minutes procedure.

It's for Friday's procedure... Oh... I'm still not paying 5k up front.
They demanded in not so many words and after half hr got a 10% down payment approved.
****in bitch.
So I was strong armed into paying up front for a required operation.
I was expecting paying some up front but they way she went at it I swear if I didn't have to have this done I would have walked out and went elsewhere.

That's not including Dr nor antithesis... I know I had insurance company check.

Insurance had no record of any pre-approval nor could they reach anyone besides urologist (1k for dr only), she tried 6 different numbers she found and 4 or 5 I gave her. She was mad..
The numbers I had nobody answered nor any voicemail, mind you they JUST gave me the numbers an hr before and it was 3pm.
I ain't paying shit else until insurance company runs it through the ringer then I'm bitchin to both hospital and insurance.
Waiting for return call for a detailed invoice and if "billed" or "approved" amounts as i might not owe as much as i think I might even.
Insurance lady said wait for bills to see what's actually owed.

I could have ripped the head off a badger I was so mad.
I even ran the numbers as their numbers don't add up, even gave son a headache by letting him try and figure it out.
I foresee me paying them very little a month after this bullshit.

I'm still fuming... I hate this hospital system with a passion, unfortunately they run everything from here to Raleigh.

Wife got double billed last year as the "doctor" she saw wasn't a Dr yet and a real "doctor" in his office had to sign off on chart thus he billed her also. She never saw the guy.
