That was horrific, and I did feel bad for them, but let's face it.....they were all collaborators with the occupying enemy, us. That's how the Taliban look at it. We have history to look at.....the Vichy French that collaborated with the Germans didn't have a very good time once France was liberated. The French women who slept with the Germans got their heads shaved, probably worse.

This is simply how things go. It's why we would be better staying OUT of wars. Afghanistan should have been the shock and awe treatment, followed by a cease fire with the promise of nukes if anything like that happened again. Then do it.

How many Americans died and got maimed for life for two decades, and what do we have to show for all that, other than the 4th most well equipped army in the world, courtesy of Brandon leaving $ 80B worth of war materiel and intact bases there. Should have at least flown out anything that would fly, stuff the cargo planes with as much as they could carry, and blow the crap out of everything else prior to exiting.

All true, but THE POINT IS, better intel, and exiting via the secure Bagram Air Base would have prevented all the bullsh1t and prob saved 13 soldiers' lives. But we should be grateful Biden took time to honor them with a "time check" of his watch as the coffins were carred by.
