Time To Upgrade Golf Carts....

As many of you may know, I live in a small beachside town where golf carts can be made street legal.

Currently have a 2019 EZ-GO w/ 4 lead-acid batteries that are 2yrs old.
Cart runs & drives great but the longevity of the batteries is killing me as I drive it a lot which is why I want to upgrade to Lithium-ion.

My current cart does 23mph whereas I can do 35mph to 45mph with Lithium-ion and the range will be ~40miles before needing to charge.

Shopping 2 dealers...

I was hell bent on upgrading to either a customized Yamaha or EZ-GO until I learned about MadJax carts.

Anyone here have experience with them?

I considered that but I like the silent factor if you will.

I'm leaning towards triple black, however, the candy apple red & also the blue look sharp. Biggest reason I don't want to buy blue is because my current cart is blue.

I get that. A friend has a couple of ev polaris rangers on his farm. He likes the quiet for hunting.

I would like the John Deere Gator 865M diesel. Maybe just a windshield and not the available full cab with doors and HVAC

I have a gas ezgo txt. Love the fact that I don’t have to worry about charging the dang thing. I see too many neighbors pushing their carts home and even assisted a couple times myself.
