Schools won't reopen this year and the Gov is signing a shelter in place order to go into effect on Friday. By far the strangest shit I've seen in my lifetime.

But for some reason certain places expect people to still have money for bills. I just sent the utility company $500 I can't afford to pay because they have gotten greedy since the Democrat Mayor took over. None of Kerry's creditors are letting him defer any payments. Just got word we are off work another week minimum. At least I have TP.

PA has gone full stupid too.

Our bonehead gov even went as far as shutting down the state stores ( hard liquor). You can buy directly from a distillery if they are in PA. May not be your favorite label but it's one option.

GWiz lost her internship with SLB yesterday. She may be able to resurrect it because of the unique work she's doing, but she's already got her backup plan. She may be joining me at my firm in an internship, and will be billable day one, and have an option to hire on full time after that. She's already bred for what I do, and that's what makes her happy. Engineering is just blah for her...she'd prefer to consult and build software.

Let's see where this goes...


Just read a headline that the class of 2020 was about to enter the most robust market in 50 years, and now they are faced with comparing themselves with their peers and it may take a decade for them to overcome the income disadvantage.

I think GWiz will be fine, but she's been conditioned to go above and beyond. Nice that she's got a guaranteed fallback position. Hell, 5 months with GWiz at home is priceless for Mr. and Mrs. Wiz when she's been gone for 4 years.

I wouldn't normally think about it, but I have a great nephew graduating from high school this year. There will be no prom, no spring sports, no graduation ceremony, no scholarship awards ceremony, etc. He will get his diploma, and he will be okay, but all those things missed can never be gotten back.
