So I throw everything in my briefcase and head to the office, set up everything there so I can get our IT guy to help me with it and it works perfectly.

I left my laptop at work, since it's more of a luggable anyway. I'm using Remote Desktop from home. It works with dual monitors too. Lots less setup this way.

I went to grad school at NYU, and there was a bar that my friends and I used to frequent called "Down the Hatch". Popular beer, wings, beer-pong kind of place back in the '90s just a few blocks from NYU. A couple years later, we are ready for the next meet up, and I get there about 20 minutes early. At this point, there was no mistaking what kind of place this had become, and the nice young man saw me sitting alone, and bought me a beer. So the guys get there, and after an hour or so, the organizer guy looks at me, and says "you know, I think this is a gay bar!"

I haven't been back since, although the beer and wings that night were definitely first rate!
