She can't let him talk. As he points out right away, what he's talking about has been hidden from CNN viewers, and must remain hidden from CNN viewers. Can I assume Vivek won't get another invite back to CNN after this performance?

I don't think so. CNN viewers will see her as THEIR champion, the people's champion, valiantly fighting back against Vivek. A normal town hall is asking questions and getting the candidates to answer. Usually, that involves trying to pin down the candidate to get a straight answer. That is not this. Vivek WAS giving straight answers, just not the ones CNN wants anyone to hear, so it turned quickly from town hall to debate, with the 'moderator' playing the role of debate opponent.

I think it was awkward. She couldn't attack him for being a part of Big Pharma, because they're firmly on Team Big Pharma, and she couldn't attack him for his ethnicity, can't accuse him of being a White supremacist.....she was simply reduced to trying to shout over him, "nu-uh, that's not true!"

And it will not be true for virtually all CNN viewers, and thus, no need to try and research Vivek's claims. Their champion told them it was all misinformation, and that's that.

I always thought a "Town Hall" was to field questions from the attendees (meaning the audience), NOT the biased host.

Had it been me, I would have clearly said "There is video PROOF this is the case. Why does CNN continue to deny it?"
