did a little searching today, found a close enough match, sent off a resume...stay tuned.

i like having everyday as a 'goof off' day, but bills and estimates are getting big, time to generate some income to offset the drain.

making stuff in my wood shop is very enjoyable, but not terribly profitable - and to make it profitable, i'd have to charge alot more than i have, and that would cut projects to just about zero.

Had the water treatment guy stop by this morning. Long story short; when they installed the system last year, they told me that they were going to leave an existing filter housing in place, but it had no filter in it.....guess what? Yeah, there was in fact a filter in that housing, absolutely full of mud, no water flow possible.

So now that I've spent about 3k to get the well fixed, it turns out that the lack of water flow may have been due to them not telling me the truth. if I knew there was a filter there, I would have looked there much earlier.

I hate wasting $$$, I don't have an endless supply of it.

I rate well service people right in there with crooked used car salesmen. I have seen them take advantage of almost everyone that has used them...and in this area, that is a bunch of families.
