Default Did my Corvette Good Deed for the Day

C4 (yes, I know, but still a Corvette) was dead at a traffic light in the middle of a busy intersection trying to turn left. I think he ran out of gas.

This is a 6-lane road with one of those gentle concrete dividers in between. I pulled my car up on the concrete, put on the flashers and helped push the car to the gas station on that corner.

He thanked me. I told him to keep the wave alive.

In retrospect, I can't believe I didn't bottom out my car on the concrete.

Christ, put yourself in this guys shoes. What is the chance of an extremely large Corvette owner driving the other direction at that very moment who is willing to pull over in heavy traffic and be able to push him with him steering. I pushed that thing about 150 yards, sprinting.

C4, gas gauge probably read full but the sensor was out of whack. Was it the disco dash variety or the half and half.

The lack of a brake cooling duct on the driver's side might just explain how I was able to drive up onto that concrete.

You done good, Craig.

Last summer, I saw a shark broken down on the highway. The car had out of state tags. I stopped to see if the guy needed any help, but he had already called for help.

I'm glad my parents never thought of donating me to the Salvation Army. Do you get any kind of tax credit for donating a child?

You did a good deed helping him. I ran out of gas in the Vette a couple weeks ago. The tank had a leak, but I didn't notice, because the gauge doesn't work. A guy pulled over to help push it but he got tired, and a couple young guys helped. I was very grateful they stopped.

Not yet. She keeps coming back.

BTW, just gone done washing the C6. The OTHER brake duct is gone and the housing broken too.

I wish I would have caught that when I ordered the driver's side parts.
