well we have radiators so how would the hole be cut? I've only seen tile saws that cut straight lines.

Nobody is sure. Some think it was caused by a virus. Some heredity. Bottom line until there is a cure she will always have it. I wished it was me instead of her though.

Probably trim the tiles as close as possible and make a few extra cuts as long as the tile is not too small. In the end, get it close and grout it in. They will not try to fit the curves with curves.

This new show by Matthew Perry doesn't seem very good.

It must have been hard when she first started getting the insulin shots or does she take pills? But thank God there is insulin.

Don,

My wife is in the natural supplements industry. I will ask her what the alternatives are. I'm sure her industry has recommendations to the products that conventional wisdom has. I'll let you know what she thinks.

Keep in mind, just because she is in this industry I don't always fully buy into it, but they do have some good, positive alternatives, that work.

I know of one that has helped, but I think with type 2.

Yeah ten to twelve shots per day at first. She now wears an insulin pump. Much better and she only gets stuck every three days for that. We still have to poke her fingers 8 to 10 times a day.

Doug no home remidies that can produce insulin as far as we have researched.

Her pancreas(sp) has pretty much stopped producing its own insulin.

Dad did shots 2 times a day. How does her sugar range ( high-low in the mornings not numbers)? Will the testing/checking ever decrease? Does her diet also help "regulate" it?

Orange juice use to bring my Dad out of shock quickly when he went off his schedule for eating.

She is usually on the low side in the morning. Hi after eating of course yes juice is on of the faster items she can drink to raise her numbers quickly.

The finger sticks can slow down a bit as she gets older maybe, but you want to control it better when young so she will not develop the worst kinds of diabetic symptoms that can develop if not taken care of well.

Don

I know and understand that. However, there may be supplements or natural products that help the body do what it was designed by God to do. Please understand, I'm saying that the current course is wrong. I'm only thinking that there may be a way to get the body to function better.

I struggle with high cholesterol. I can take prescription medications or I can take some the of the natural products. Both get my cholesterol where the doc likes to see it. Granted, cholesterol is a much different animal than Type-1 diabetes, but it's worth an inquiry. In the end it's up to you. I will always respect whatever decision you make and I will never criticize you or question you for that decision. I just think that all options should be considered. In many cases the modern technology doctors do not consider alternate medications and that's unfortunate, because some do work.
