Getting ready to redo our 1100sf guesthouse. New kitchen, flooring thru out, paint, redo closets. Few months to do.

One day I think it would be interesting to learn how to do floors and tile work. I find weird things like flooring installation...interesting,

My Dad use to do all that stuff and I was his gopher so I picked up some things along the way

Just finished putting Satillo tile flooring in BR3 of the main house. Used for mrs dab's office.

The hardest part of tile is layout. If you can get the layout, tile size, joints figured out the rest is fairly easy.

Yes. She has type 1 diabetes. She was diagnosed at 4. She is 8 now. The older kids did not get it.

I am horrible with angles....geometry is not my forte! I would never be able to cut angles or any oddities

or how do cut out a circle for a pipe?

Is it hereditary? My Dad had it got when he was 26. So far none of the kids have it, he was the only one of his siblings who had it, my aunt and uncles (all but 1) developed it later in life, just prior to their passing. But my cousins are borderline diabetics...odd how it works.

Good tile guys don't get real specific with the angles. Once they get the room centered they start working out from center. When they get to the walls it falls into place. The problem can be finding the center of the room.
