drew 2 deer tags (does) this morning for this fall!

dad also drew 2 deer and one antelope.

would be nice to fill 3 of those tags.

better get my rifle back out of the vault and do a little practice.

better get my rifle back out of the vault and do a little practice.
I bought a break barrel pellet gun. I can now do rifle practice in the backyard needing nothing more than a bale of hay as a backstop. It has improved my rifle skills immensely.

did well last year: 2 deer in 2 shots. dropped them where they stood.

ammo is expensive, don't waste it nor waste meat by shooting it up too much.

In the Nosler reloading book is a load for 165 gr ballistic tips using RL22 powder. 3000 fps and they shoot great in my Remington 760 gamemaster pump. Just under an inch group at 100 yards off a bench
