Growing up my parents said as a baby I always had to have Hot Wheels cars in my hands.The Snake and the Mongoose were some of my favorites,even had the racing set and played it until it broke.
Very sad news indeed.

I watched Tom “The Mongoose” McEwen race many times through the years. Got to see The Mongoose an Don "The Snake" Prudhomme several times at match races. I at the US Nationals in Indy in 78 McEwen went up against Prudhomme in the funny car final. Tom's son had died a few weeks before. When Tom's win light came on the whole place was applauding. May he rest in peace and be blessed by God.
