Working on school buses? A 4 ton floor jack probably weighs 200 pounds. I would check out farm auctions, watch for repair shop closures, and check out places like Tractor Supply.
You will definitely want to shop locally as truck freight will likely exceed $100.00.

A quick Google search shows a 4 ton at Sears for $200.00. Sounds like the deal right there!

I would only get a used one if it was refurbished and trying to find o-rings and such on mostly china made jacks is almost impossible.

I've gone through just too many Chicom crap jacks!
Learned about Milwaukee jacks, safety valve body and took a chance,
Absolutely love it!!!! fits under my C-4. USA made and ball bearing castors,
with Zerk fittings all around.

It also has a feature I really like, while lowering your vehicle and you
need to stop it immediately, no twisting the handle-just raise it slightly and
the descent stops, right there!

FYI, Snap On actually sued Harbor Freight over this and LOST. I'm not sure, but I think the Snap On jacks aren't even made in the USA, I believe they are CHICOM as well...That Daytona jack is probably made in the same factory, for like 1/3 the price.
