Default Spots on glass

I have some water spots on my windshield that you can barely see unless you get right on top of it but I can't seem to get them off. I have only tired steel wool so far and thought I would try some clay next time I clay my car but figured I ask you cats what you would recommend to get them off.

How are you with a buffer, because you can buy specific window compund and polish, and speacial pads for the windows, Stangkiller on here had bad hard water spots on his windshield, I used a windshield compound to get them out. It will be your best way to get it out.

Claying, with a lot of pressure and lubricant should have been the first thing that you tried. Steel wool is only going to create swirl marks. If claying didn't work, then you should move to a buffing compound but it would need to be done in stages. No one compound is going to work. It takes 2-3 different compounds to remove the damage and then get the glass back to a crystal clear appearance.

It's real similar to fixing paint.
