Junkman's 2-Bucket Car Wash Technique
Well folks, this long awaited video series is finally up and running! In these videos, I talk about and show my method of a 2-bucket wash. From start to finish, I cover every step in how to wash a car without creating damage to the paint. Every step in this process is critical to the preservation of your paint and as most of you know, I have the paint to show for it. For those who don't know, I'll provide the pictorial proof.
So sit back, watch and enjoy. This video series, like all the other ones that I have done is not absent of my usual screw ups. What can I say, it's another "brutha' in his garage production!" Pics of my paint... That's all folks! The Junkman

Your garage isn't packed with enough Adams stuff.
UofL kicked the stuffing out of Morgan State yesterday!

Great videos!
You have convinced me to get a foam gun. Any particular soap you use? Anything available in the typical local stores? Thanks, Paul |

Because of the way the foam gun meters the mix, different soaps work different ways. Most will not foam up enough. The two that I have found that work excellent are the DP Extreme Formula and the Adam's Car Wash. The Adam's is what I used in these videos.

I'm gonna have to go through and watch these when I have time. I'm particular, but I know you could show me some tricks.
Thanks JM! |

Let me know if you see something that you are not doing, or something that you would do differently. I like hearing from guys who are as particular as I am.

Hey Junkman! These are awesome videos!! Keep them coming!
I have recently started using the 2-mitt method (only one bucket at present, but resolving that soon!). One Green and one Blue to differentiate between upper and lower. Any 2 colors would work though. A different method than the 2 size way, but this may work too. Where's a good place to get those buckets? Or can you use the $5 bucket from HomeDepot or something, and buy the grit guard separately? Paul |

Yes Paul, you can get those buckets from a big box store but don't do so until you buy the Grit Guards first (which you can buy separately). Take one of the Grit Guards with you to the store and make sure that they fit all the way down to the bottom of the bucket and also make sure that they don't spin. Both of those issues are very important.
