Default Tree Resin.

Well being that I live at an apartment. If the sun is out I don't cover my car. I washed my car yesterday and woke up to this on my car today.
Now I noticed some on there before I washed it and I scrubbed it out. But this is ridiculous. It's ALL over the car. I mean there seems like there is no way to do this with out an electric buffer. Any Ideas? Yesterday the car was squeeky clean and now this. I was hoping to take it and get it waxed this weekend before I head down to NC on the 23rd.

Try a claybar. Then follow up with some polish.

Josh is it hard sap or stickey goo type stuff? If it's goo try goo gone or goof-off or WD-40 etc. Follow up with soap/water.

If it's hard sap I think I remember detailers using peanut butter or maybe it was gum... it was a strange trick. Either way you need to soften it up... that's what bug/tar/sap remover does.... soak a rag and let it sit over the offending area then wash/wipe off.

Thanks guys, I will prolly try a clay bar This weekend.

Brian , Its I guess hard. I mean it DOES come out after I scrub the crap out of it with a microfiber towel and water. but its a super pain. After searching for about 3 hours last night, the best bet might be to clay bar it and then get it waxed. Since I am sure my car doesnt have a nice layer of wax because if it did this stuff would just wipe away with minimul pressure.

If it's hard sap clay won't touch it.... clay is for removing bonded contaminents like brake dust and pollution that imbeds in the clearcoat.

Also my guess is since I don't have any wax on my car, the Goo Gone would take the wax layers off correct? Does that stuff actually harm the cars paint itself?
