I lived on the east side of El Segundo. From 6/15 until 7/10 it was a shitshow every night. We're not talking sparklers. Inglewood was lit up with full on pro fireworks. From 7/3 until 7/5, it literally looked like 10 or 15 shows were happening at once for about 3 hours per night. Mexico and NV are short drives...

The fake part was "planned"

My guess is that they were hauling confiscated stuff away for a planned detonation in a pit somewhere. They do this every year in CA and blow up a few mannequins for effect.

They stopped at midnight...and then started again at 3:45 this morning for about 20 minutes. FKRS !

We (neighbors and I) spent 4K on fireworks. One of the neighbors does the pyrotechnics for the big concerts and is able to buy wholesale. We should have a good show this year.

I was very wrong about the containment trailer. It actually is exactly like the ones I posted pictures of. They just have a square cube around it with sheet metal sides that made it difficult to see the containment ball. I came across a video that shows it much clearer.

So, why in the actual F do you do this in a neighborhood???? I care less now about the engineering of the enclosure and the execution of the operation than I do about who makes a decision to not just tow this for a couple hours to the desert and make a big bang. Stupid F'ing F's.
