Believe it or not I had a Chevy dealership that was honest with be concerning my truck. I have a 09 Z/71 4X4 Silverado. One day while going down the interstate seemed locked in 2nd. Had no indicator lights but all I had was 1st 2nd and reverse. Took it to the dealer I bought the truck thinking I may need a new transmission. They checked out and it turned out that a sensor for the 4 wheel drive failed when it went into second gear. They replaced the sensor at a cost of $250.

You already gave her the royal treatment with no promise of personal gain. This is what you do, if you are a true gentleman. It usually pays off in ways that may be insubstantial, but nontheless gratifying. That 50 was icing on the cake. Good work!

It's really nice to be appreciated; especially when you're being fair with folks.

Real simple business advice I heard so long ago I don't remember the source:

Say what you do and do what you say.
