SBC '89 block with AL heads....

L98 heads, went into hydrolock on pass side......pulled the head and had it worked over.....so question is......the driver side seems fine, no water turns over nice....intake passages look clean should I pull it anyway??

I have a friend who say to pull it anyway, and get it checked....honestly, due to my skeleton, I hate to bother......

Pull it and get both heads up to AP&M on Jammes and Wilson to have them gone over and get anything fixed that you can't see with your old man vision.

Had the failed head to Cylinder head of Orange Park recommended by a couple parts houses......used to be DOVER cyl head by Owner's father.....owner now is Oscar Lebron.....know anything of him??? looks like in his 30's, but said age 43 .....

What did they do to the bad one? How were the seats, etc...?

Cleaned it up nice, redid the surfaces....cleaned up a lightly rusted valve, checked the guided and seals, and pressure tested all the areas.....not so happy with a cooling passage with ~1/8 or little more clearance between cooling and some other passage way.....but his TIG welder was down, so he could not fix it....oh well.....

I think it should be fine, comparing with other similar shituation on the cyl head piston surface area.....
