One small step. My hope is this is one of many steps to the movement of business into the solar system. I would love to see some form of space mining in my lifetime. Once we can process the raw materials for space craft in space the solar system is open to all of us.

The actual rocket itself emits no carbon. The R&D, manufacturing, and everything else associated with the brief flight undoubtedly has a large carbon footprint.
