Default My feckin' plantar wart is back!

Same place, same pain. I thought I killed it 2 years ago with the freeze-kit. But....nooooooooooooh! It like having a rock imbedded in your foot. A big rock A sharp rock. With hydrochoric acid on it...and heated in the oven. There's no focal point yet, so I can't shave it down. Would sticking a hot needle in it kill it? Sumbish....

Is that like a common wart? If so, I read an article that stated that using duct tape over the wart actually worked faster at removing it than topical creams.

My son kept getting those. We'd have one removed, only to have another one grow back within 6 months. The doctor finally suggested soaking his foot in regular tea for 15 minutes every night for six weeks. I rolled my eyes, thanked him and wrote it off. Then Gage said he wanted to try it. Something about the tannin in the tea eventually shrunk the wart and it came off. He hasn't had another one in 4 years.

Laugh all you want, I did, but it worked for him.

No, not like a common wart. Plantar warts are deeply imbedded under the skin. Duct tape has never helped.

I brewed a full pot of tea then would just use enough of it each night to soak the bottom of his foot in while he ate dinner. I only had to brew a new pot each week. It was pretty easy actually.

Plantar warts have their own blood vessel. I watched the doc cut my son's during removal, he said that's the only way to tell you got the whole thing. It still came back. It was after that that he suggested the tea method.

My dad would get these every so often...You could tell when he was having pains from one as he started walking sideways just about because the pain was so bad. I would sometimes see him working on one with a knife digging around his foot...

I haven't ever had one, but I know how bad a wound on your foot hurts, embedded deep or not. I tore the soft skin open in between the ball of my foot and the outside of my foot, just behind the toes with a carpet to wood flooring transition strip that had a screw sticking out just a bit too much. Bled like a mofo, and a hurt like I had never felt before!

That's exactly what it feels like. You get a combination of skin, flesh, and bone pain.

I had one of those when I was younger. The freeze thing wasn't working so I used said freezing device to chill it until I could not feel a thing and cut it out with a exacto knife. Bleed like a stuck pig cleaned it up with alcohol and after a long healing period it has never come back.

I was a little kid, had one of them on my left heel, the doc cut it out but GOOD, never came back, knock on wood....

had some years ago on my knuckles I took some freon from a/c work and froze the living hell out of them, then cut them out while still frozen and numb...stick a bandaid on it with some anticeptic cream...it worked....all 4 of them gone....

still think some freezing it, and cutting it out would work, but need a Doc used to cutting that shit out....for one thing it's deep enough flesh, and we can't SEE it clear enough....

Toss in this one probably smells like industrial Barbie glue, it might just be a kill and walk away situation.
