We are making german potato salad and chocolate peanut butter pretzel cookies to take to our neighborhood block party this evening. They will be grilling burgers, brats, dogs, and chicken. We expect about 100 people to show up. It's getting bigger each year, and the teenagers set off the fireworks show.

After my wife and I finish making that stuff, we are going to a pool party north of town with a bunch of friends from about noon to six, then head back here for the block party.
