We truly got each other through some bad times…she is likely the clingiest dog I have ever had.
Damn, what an ordeal. Thank you for taking good care of the pupper, and thanks for not croaking!

We have Healthy Paws. You can make claims annually for some expenses and get some refund.

Yes the premium goes up as they get older.

And one of my Labs swallowed a dishrag as a few months old puppy,
we thought it was going to be surgery but she pooped out the rag.

Our vet has their own insurance. We actually put Costco’s pet insurance up against theirs, and theirs won. Mostly because it includes dental.

I wouldn't purchase that stuff. It's like getting and extended car warranty or that other homeowner thing on tv.

My pup Ricky was attack 3 weeks ago. After 2 surgeries by our long time vet, he is going great, and I have about $3200 on it. Probably close to 4k after the next surgery to remove some pins.

No regrets

Anyone use either Lemonade or Spot pet insurance?
Lemonade is alot cheaper than just about anyone however that's not necessarily a good thing.
Spot gets very good reviews, pays off actual costs not a payout list.
For 90% coverage, 250 deductible with 10k yearly max it'd be 55 for Spot and 35 for Lemonade.
Both have approximately same waiting periods up front, no biggie.
Neither pay directly and have about same repayment time.

Alot of these pet insurance companies have a laundry list of not eligible stuff and max payments for each item such as xrays, pretty much every single thing. Not sure I want to argue over cost of stiches per stitch.
