Default Passengeer aircraft doors......

That plane that had a passenger open one of the door during flight, I got a few questions from look of the pix/vids on TV......

from the look of the plane on the ground, the door appears to be hinged on the cockpit side of the door frame, IF so, how in hell could it open when in flight??

be ME, the hinges would be on the door side further forward......so no matter what happened during flight the airstream would force the door damn near shut.....

so what was the shituation???

Would not have worked at 30,000 feet but at 800 feet…
Maybe he just wanted to make sure he was first off due to a tight connecting flight

You may not be aware of this, but the cockpit side of the plane is the front, not the side.

Pressure was not an issue at the low altitude....but I DID think there was some interlock that would automatically prevent this unless the plane was not in motion. The larger issue is when did all this craziness start taking place in airports and on flights ? I don't want to be in a metal tube at 25,000 feet with demented passengers.

I'd say it was booze but some of the violators seem sober but batsh!t angry about ... wlll nearly anything...

Wait, don't the cock pits move around as they are serving coffee and peanuts during the flight?

they DO, but the issue is watt kept the obvious ~150mph wind from forcing the door SHUT??? almost gotta be some stupid mechanism forcing the door open against wind force.....seems like a strange design to ME.....to assist in passengers jumping?? so why not just put the hinges on the back/rear edge of the door???

'The cockpit' is also a euphemism for mod gatherings at the other place, perhaps due to their 'down low' proclivities.
