Not their best moments

This morning, I was headed across a local highway in NJ. It runs east and west and moves pretty well most days. This morning, I guess the po-po decided people were using their cell phones and did a blitzkrieg. I counted fourteen patrol cars in about a five mile stretch. They were beside the road, tailgating people in typical NJ trooper fashion, and just being dicks. It was then that one of them allegedly saw a perp on a cell phone, the horror. He quickly put it in gear, spun the tires like a duke boy, and raced down the shoulder after the perp(speed limit is 65). Shortly thereafter, an entrance ramp came in from the right side, he lost control. His patrol car became a crumpled pile of mess, with a small fire burning below it.

Cell phone using perp- 1, tax paying citizens out about 80 grand for a wrecked car, Officer may be injured as well, I didn't hang around to find out, as several people had already stopped after watching this whole thing go down in front of us.

didn't have my phone out because it connects to my sync. I get pulled over a couple times a month for them alleging im on that stupid thing. in jersey its a primary offense. if its locked in the glove box it still connects, and I can prove I wasn't on it. jersey troopers are diks but I do a lot of business there and necessarily have to go there sometimes.

Now suppose driving with cphone in holder plugged in and down below level, being used as a navy-gator to find an addy.....would that enable some charge be added to another ticket, for say speeding???

she has one of them teacup holders that expands to holder for secure grip....

they blitz all over the highway. they try to look from behind and if something is in your hand they assume phone and pull you over. NJ troopers can be overzealous to be polite....

I do, hence the reason I put it in the glove box. it connects to sync in my truck. I can call or text via voice. having been accused on multiple occasions of being on it, you learn to make sure its not in your hand. if in the box, I would have to reach across the console to get it out or put it in. that is my argument to them. how did I reach all the way over and you not see me when you were behind me. on one occasion it rang and I answered while he was giving me shit to make a point. he got it and moved along.

edit: I drink a lot of coffee and often have one in my hand while driving. from behind in a patrol car it may appear to be a phone, I dunno
