Default Some renders of the 2010 Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera!


The above render is a little off, since we now know that the car will be a "Superleggera" not a "Super Veloce", but the nose of the real car is likely to be more "SVish" than the render below...



The car was previewed for customers in Singapore recently and will be shown to more customers in Italy towards the end of the month, before being unveiled to the rest of us at the Geneva Motor Show in March...

Not crazy about the scoops on the front!

I like the side view, but not the front. Puke Lime green on a lambo? Come on, really!

I'd seriously consider parting with a nut for a Gallardo. Any Gallardo (except the convertible).

I'm guessing you've never seen a Lime Green Muira? To me Lime Greens and bold oranges are among the coolest Lamborghini colours because I see them as a bit of a nod to Lamborghini's heritage.

I understand that you might just find them plain awful colours to look at though.

SV, or Super Veloce (Italian for Super Fast) is a term Lamborghini has used in the past to denote a special "hardcore" variation of an existing model, first used on the Miura, and subsequently on the Diablo and the Murcielago.

Superleggera (Italian for Superlight) was a term used by Lamborghini on a special variant of the previous generation Gallardo, which had been lightened.

The media had been reporting that this new Gallardo was to be called an SV, something some Lamborghini enthusiasts lamented, because until now SV had only been used on 12 cylinder Lamborghinis.

Don't worry, they will be offering Superleggera in other colors...











... and if you want a normal Gallardo LP560, they will paint it any color you wish...

It was prolly done in photoshop (the color hues) so it's not the true green as seen in the pic you took. Lambo does no wrong!

Now, I love Verde Ithaca (the bright green we're used to, the bottom pic) but I'm not sure about Lambo doing no wrong.... have you seen the new green, Verde Scandal?

Just that hint of yellow ruins it for me... thank god it's a special range color, probably aimed at the UAE. This car is in Rapper-filled Hollywood... and the trend with them right now seems to be out-doing each other's painful color combos...

Hehehe, it would be one thing if that was a customer ordered car... we can't blame Lamborghini if its customers have no taste... but that was a car mixed up by Lambo for dealer stock, and the worst thing is... they made two identical cars for the same dealer, O'Gara Coach in Beverly Hills.
