I used Mucilax powder mixed in 64 oz. of Gatorade and 5 dulcolax tablets. I was on the toilet half the damn day and used at least one roll of toilet paper.

Worse yet, although it is only 64 oz., you have to drink one 8 oz. glass every half hour. By the time I had my 7th glass, I was feeling queasy. Sure enough, the next thing I know I am puking. I must have puked up about the last 2 glasses I had drank. I was really worried that I wouldn't be "clean" enough and that they'd make me re-schedule. Luckily, that wasn't the case.

The booty burn from excess toilet paper usage was the worst side effect for me. It got so bad after flutting out all that amazing, Technicolor diarrhea, even Tuck's medicated wipes couldn't completely soothe the discomfort.

It felt like someone poured a 12 oz. can of cayenne pepper on my anus and sphincter muscle.

While I hate the annual exam with a passion I have also found it to be worthwhile in that I was diagnosed with Stage 1 Colon Cancer a couple of years ago which required the immediate surgical removal of the last foot of my descending colon.

I still get polyps but they are removed each year during my colonoscopic exam and no more cancer which I find to be a "good thing"!

Glad to hear. Cancer colon claimed my Dad's father's life. Not a pleasant way to go at all. I'm due for my second exam next year.

I hear they have a "flut pill" (horse tablet) now that less unpleasant than chug-a-lugging two liters of liquid colon prep.
