Toggle switch input requested ...
I installed a 6 light strobe setup on the C5 a couple years ago and currently have it running off 1 toggle switch. I bought a new switch that will allow me to control front and back lights separately and control the flash pattern. I would love to put all 3 switches in the ashtray but I also have the QTP cutout controller stashed there. So I cannot decide where I should put the new switches. It needs to be somewhere I won't accidentally hit them. I was thinking of putting the switches next to fog-light/trunk popper. I prefer not to drill into the center console but if I have no other option I can.
What do you all think? Toggle switch in ashtray: Control switch - I am not 'tied' to those switches and may go with a lighted option.

Hard to get a feel for how big (or deep) that switch panel is...Could it be fitted under the cupholder door? (unless of course you're that rare guy that actually uses it to hold beverages )
Or, since this is likely something you don't use all that often, how about in the glovebox? |

You could put that panel in the console if you didn't mind cutting holes in there that is.
Tom had a sweet idea with the cupholder though.

I do like it. I seldom use the 'preset' button but the blue lights match the rest of my interior.
