First car.......
The first motor car is as old as Creation itself. It even says so in Genesis that God drove Adam and Eve out of the Garden in a Fury..

The Plymouth Fury was a good car back in the day. Particularly if you could find a clapped out one with a police interceptor 440 under the hood. Used to be able to buy those for around $400 all day long back in Pennsylvania in the early '70's.

It's still a good car. All those little punks in their BMWs will think twice before cutting you of when you're driving a behemoth like that, knowing that if anything goes awry their car will be a crumpled up ball of tinfoil and yours won't even have a scratch.

Dad had a 4-door gold '71 Fury III with a 360 in it, great car and was a boat! Got around 9 mpg in town and he thought he was doing great to get 13 mpg on the road.
Prior car was a '66 Fury II. |
