So I got this today.
1985, two owners with 78k miles. Needs a little tweaking. Everything works except the power antenna and radio. Not a fan of the C5 wheels on her. It has cloth sport seats which is odd. The data stickers are missing so I'm not sure but the indicators are it is a Z51 car.

Looks in good shape. The old C4's that I saw from the 80's were in bad shape. I had a late 96 C4 that I sold back in 2015 before I moved up north from southern CA. My only complaint with the C4 was the head clearance. With the seat all the way down, I had about 1/4 of an inch. Since mine was a late C4, it had those F45 shocks & suspension that were only made for this late model. Finding replacements did not exist.
I sold the car due to the move, and I could not afford the car with my last kid going to college. It was fine while I had it for 5 years. |

Leather was not available for the optional sport seats in 1985.

I of course love my C5 but do miss my 87. Loved that car.
If you need a set of stock 84-87 C4 Wheels..... I may have a set I'm willing to part with. |

Nice looking! The wagon wheels have a certain appeal, would opt for the chrome saw blades.

This is the fifth C4 I have had. Three '84 (two with the 4+3 Nash) and a '91. I am going to do something about the wheels. Prefer to find a set of ZR1 or Z06 like I had on my others.

Clean and well cared for!
I agree with you, it'll be much nicer when you dump the wagon wheels. Those Gen 4 ZR1 wheels make a nice pairing IMO. Scott

That's a very nice ride. I never owned a C4 but I sure remember how badly I wanted one when they came out and I couldn't afford one.

I had a red 85 that I bought in 86. Loved it except for the auto trans.
Most of my Corvette friends like the body style of the later C4s but I prefer the 85. No third brake light and just a cleaner look to me. Congrats... nice find. |

Never understood either, when I see a nice clean detailed C4, especially the engine compartment, always gets my vote at a show.

Just took my 84 up and over the Cascade range yesterday.
older pic, vanes on wheels going right way now. also got red of red slip on seat covers, but they kept the black seats almost perfect! Black interior is in sweet condition. |
