Had a doctor appoint yesterday for a second opinion on my heart valve problem. Totally different experience from the first Cardio doctor. This doctor explained everything whereas the first one did not. They scheduled me for an echocardiogram for today and a stress test for next Wednesday. They will take off the 24 hour heart monitor when I get there this afternoon. Left there with a much better feeling about what was being provided to me.

The discoloration took 4-5 weeks to completely go away. The pain took longer to completely resolve. If the swelling is down, that should mean the drugs are working. Are you seeing an infections diseases specialist? I did, the guy was very knowledgeable as this is a fairly common problem, so he had seen it dozens of times. Just do what he/she says, and STAY OFF IT!

When I return to the office, whenever that may be, I will be required to wear a mask on mass transit and public places in the building (latrine, halls, entry vestibule, food establishments, etc.). Once back at my cube, I can remove it. I plan on complying. I could not imagine having to wear a mask all fuggin day.
