I absolutely don't feel sorry for that human piece of shit. His wife on the other hand, my heartfelt prayers go out to her and her family. I knew he was way too caught up on himself, so I usually avoided his threads like the plague. His wife was a very attractive lady, and probably put up with his crap way longer than she should have. If someone is going to kill themselves, well then so be it. However, to take someone else out because you have made a miserable life for yourself is beyond comprehension. Either way, what a horrible situation.

I tend to agree.

It's impossible for me to defend a schizophrenic ex-cop with a gun that murdered his sleeping wife in cold blood, but evidently some people are okay with it.

While I believe it's the Almighty's position to judge and not mine, I still find it impossible to rationalize his actions.

When you 'know' somebody via an internet forum Chas, you don't really know them.

I am actually not one to judge when it comes to suicide, I have known many people over the years that have ended their life.

In my own personal experience with suicide, it was bullshit. And sad. However, in certain cases, I can see the rationale. One being if you are terminally ill, lose all of your dignity and are in extreme pain.

Remember, in some societies it's even socially acceptable, like Japan. Being dishonored etc. Or the Klingon's.

He murdered his wife in cold blood. Regardless of his perceived mental illness, it's fucked up.

That said, I didn't know him. You didn't 'really' know him. So the only thing we can do is move on with our lives.
