50 states and state governments plus the 2nd amendment means they don’t stand a chance, (long term). Going to be rough but folks have experienced and survived worse.

I think “The Truth will set us free” is insanely important now. Many of us have turned a blind eye to obvious nonsense attempting to go along to get along.

The only way I see out of this is for a massive group withholding of taxes to the federal government. That would bankrupt them in months. But the 'Crats are ahead of us there as well, doubling the size of the IRS.

Government can create as many dollars as it wishes and tax people holding dollars via inflation, (they reduce the purchasing power). They already are as witnessed by various prices and they have spent the future with all the impossible promises they have made. Smart money is buying real things, precious metals, art, antiques, firearms, and various rarities that can be hidden away until this cycle runs its course.

Dollars are a claim on wealth that mostly doesn’t exist yet and may never. As you said yourself, “hyperinflation” destroys the system and it resets as others have so many times in the past. A time when dollars are simply no longer accepted for real things. The chart I left in another post showed promises totaling 1,100 % of GDP and that was in 2015, years before the current balance sheet craziness.

People wishing to beat the government would do better exchanging some amount of promises (dollars) for real stuff that is useful, can hold its value and be protected. Keep, invest and use some amount of dollars as it is the medium of exchange and could be for a long time to come but save in real, durable things. No one knows when this monetary cycle will end but history provides some insights. The bottom line is, the system doesn’t work and is destroying itself. Let it.

I would strongly discourage anyone from withholding taxes. It is a futile gesture and will only get those that do, unnecessary suffering, including your families. Focus on becoming as self sufficient as you can and try to engage like minded folks.
