Seiko; my all time fav. Older brother brought one back from Japan in the late 60's... I was hooked.

I still have his original, plus 2 more.

Kinda cool. Looks like a Chronomat homage.

Speaking of Seikos, here’s a Seiko Chrono originally issued by the British Ministry of Defense to RAF bomber crews.

Reminiscent of a late 60’s version.

Pictured is a 2021 116509-0072 White Gold Daytona Steel Dialed, latest version bought last year from an Authorized Dealer at msrp! Getting one of these now is a near impossibility, prices have more than doubled, secondary market. My first Daytona same model broke after 52 days on my wrist. I had it repaired under warranty then traded it in for another new one… Took a bath but I just couldn’t wear the repaired piece with confidence.

This is still unworn by me and in my safe, BNIB! Lol

Definitely more understated in white gold. Very nice.

Own a few Breitling, nothing outrageous. Blue faced Navi is my favorite of the bunch. Next one likely to be Rolex as my tastes are changing. Got one cheap?

I literally just posted next door an entry level automatic I just bought. Here it is with another entry level automatic I got a good deal on last month. One day I will purchase a real watch. I have geeked out over them for years.

It's a right hand world, nice to see Rolex tapping into this market!

Yes, I agree it fits me perfectly! When I got the call, the watch had just come in the shop owner hadn't opened it and didn't know what bracelet it had. We opened the package together and to my surprise it had the jubilee! That is the one I had hoped to land!

So, did you buy one too?

No, at least not yet. The AD kept the first one that came in. He asked if I would like one. I said maybe in a year or two but still unsure if it's for me.

His came on the oyster and he has ordered the Jubilee for it, but they are backordered for now. I have a BLNR on a Jubilee that I got just after the new model came out three years ago. We swapped bracelets so he could see how he likes it on the Jubilee. We were both surprised how great it looks on the Jubilee!
