It's almost that time.
With Woodie's passing, we'll need a new leader.
I nominate Jeff, (JRD77VET), who won the playoff last season.
Anybody second the motion ?

NASCAR changed their rules this year, incentivising continual racing.
I got this off of a news feed, so it's not everything, but a basic rundown of the changes.
Races will be divided into segments.

— NASCAR will tell teams before the season how each race will be divided. The number of segments will be based on race and track length.

— Bonus points will be awarded for those drivers running in the top 10 at the end of each segment.

— During the segment breaks, TV broadcasts will attempt to miss as little on-track action as possible.

— Normal points will be awarded to the finishing order of the race (40 points to first, 39 to second, 38 to third, etc.).

— A driver’s points total for the race will include race-finish points plus any top-10 running bonus points collected in the segments.

— Drivers will have the chance to earn bonus points during the Chase.

Riding around in the back for 95% of the race will hopefully be a thing of the past.
