Classic. Really riled his ass up, didn't we? Few things more gratifying than knowing you got under his skin.....and when Pete told him "You get butt hurt...." I thought I was gonna have a stroke.

That was quite possibly your finest hour Pete. You let him have it with both barrels. I think it was my "South of Barstow" comment on that troll at CF that claimed to be from England that lit the fuse on the whole thing. Crocamonga thought I was talking about him I guess. Come to think of it, there may have been a reason for that.....

I'm not scared of much of anything when it comes to speed, but seeing a speedometer pegged at 120 on a lake with a 65 year old man in flip flops behind the wheel is something that I really wasn't too fond of.

I got a ride in a 30 ft V-hull lake boat with twin 502 chevy BB's at 600 hp ea. we came out of the water about 3 feet at almost 90 mph when we touched a wake in the middle of Lake Elsinore. Bad ass, but a huge accident waiting to happen.

Boat insurance is affordable until you get one that can go over 70 mph...then you better be rich.

He had somewhere around $350k in the damn thing, not counting the cost of keeping it in an airlift drydock at Cumberland... and even more than that in his various cars (including a 62 vette).

Too bad his daughter and I just weren't quite compatible.
