My full house 125 grainers with Bullseye are as spectacular out of the 6 inch barreled 686.
Great fun!

Full tilt loads out of my Ruger Super Redhawk in .44 mag using H110 with 180 grain XTP's not only create a massive fireball, they also knock the dust out of the ceiling tiles at the gun club's covered outdoor rage

No Gene, I like things that go BANG!! I would shoot anywhere from 100 to 200 rounds a night when I brought out my .44 mag. I reload so it's extremely affordable.

Nice grips and a smoothed trigger ( trigger job by my gunsmith) make shooting it a joy.

44 mag is fine. .454 Casull or the S&W or Ruger big magnums are punishing even in large frame scoped revolvers. I made it through 3 .454 Buffalo Bore full housers in a Raging Bull before I was smart enough to stop.
