I went to a community event with my wife this morning. It's called "Coffee with a Cop" and they do it a few times a year. A local coffee shop sponsors it and it provides free beverages for any one who shows up. My small town has about 15 cops, I think and some of them were there along with the chief and people from the probation dept.

It's simply an opportunity to meet the local police and hangout and have some conversation with them. I wish there had been more people there, but it was a small coffee shop. We had some good conversations with the Chief (who I already knew) and a few of the officers.

You should get a little dog of your own....forces you to get outside for walks, and great company..... and a way to meet people at the dog parks.

I used my Browning rifle chambered in .30-06 to get my deer.

A cartridge designed in 1906, 111 years ago, in a rifle made 25 years ago. Still works.

I missed our black lab/retriever more as well when my ex moved out.
Bigger dog= larger bark, and larger poop.....that's why.
Small dogs are just as great as big dogs. Our schnauzer was a super dog.
