There's a short period when they get out of the car seat where it's not bad. The car seat hogs up must of the room. We had to have the passenger seat all the way forward.

If all four of us go out we take my wife's car or my company car. Reason being is because i have to have the passenger seat almost all the way up for my 8 year old to have legroom and not bitch and moan the whole damn time, which almost puts my wife's knees in the dash. My 5 year old is easy going. She sits behind me Indian style half the time. The other half she stretches out with her legs to the side resting on the tranny hump or center console. I'll take pics for you in a few which will be easy and helpful as its a drop top so you can see for yourself. I'll check on their height for you too so you can compare to your little guy.

I bought my 11 (late 10 build date)in nov of 12 for $25k private party. If you go off the build sheet it was a $38k car at msrp. Seller was motivated which is why i went to Houston for it. I should have paid close to $30k for it. Last edited by ...Whitepower...; 09-24-2014 at 5:49pm. |

Here you go Sam and Tony. My 8 year old is 51" and my 5 year old is 40." I hit em up with the tape measure 5 minutes ago. I'm 6'1 and leg long. That's my every day driving position. Notice where my 5 year old's feet are.

One of my best friends just picked up a 2013 Boss, and I have to admit, I'm pretty impressed.

I've had mine for a year and a half and I still love it. My munchkin daughter sits behind me like Mark's and my 80# son fits behind the passenger just fine. I have a family truckster for longer trips but both kids complain when we don't use the Mustang. I feel ya on the black car thing. I've sworn them off for good. Too much work keeping them clean. The Impact blue is very popular over on the SVT forum. I would expect good resale on those. The car in the OP looks like a Track "suspension" and not the Track "pack" which means you don't get the torsen dif. I've never driven a Torsen car but mine does pretty well for a stone age solid axle. It's pretty twitchy at the limit but sticks surprisingly well for what it is. If I were you, I would get a new 14. My co-worker just picked up a stone cold loaded $40k GT for $30k. Great deals right now on new, I wouldn't even consider used unless it is a smoking deal. I haven't driven an M5 like yours but it should be at least comparable since the Mustang weighs a ton less unless you have a trunk load of bodies. |
