Default Is this a fantasy football dick move?
I had two D's. San Fran and the Pats.I saw that KC was playing Oakland and available and picked them up without thinking twice. So now i have 3 D's.

Now my QB was Rodgers but when he went down i grabbed Big Ben and had RG3 as a back up. Well RG3 is fukced so i dropped him when i got KC's D. Then today i saw Foles was free and he's playing Minnesota so i am trying to grab him on waivers because well the Vikings blow (sorry mike )

So the bottom line is i had 2 D's, picked up KC as a third, am trying to grab Foles, but to do so i have the KC D i just picked up on the chopping block waiting for Foles to clear waivers and to see if i get him. So basically by pulling this move i ensure that no one gets KC's D.

Dick move or no?

Not a dick move.

A dick move would be like the guy in 3rd in my league who has 2 top 12 RB's and grabbed 3 other RB's off of waivers this week to block other people who need RB's from getting them. And he's the commissioner of the league. I'm out next year, this is supposed to be a fun past time amongst friends, not cut throat player blocking.

It's within the rules, so no Dick. This happens all the time in leagues that use the first come first serve waiver process. I always ran my waivers manually to ensure parity in the weekly add/drops. More work, but less butthurt in the long run

I picked up KC because they are projected at 27-28 points against Oak where San Fran is projected at 22 and the Pats are less than that. Sound's like your guy watches The League.

Ruxin one of the guys on the show picked up all the free agent D's on the friday or saturday before the final playoff round and dropped them so they would be on waivers and no one could pick them up. He was the commissioner too..
