There is a new bezel designed and manufactured to completely cover the existing cracked bezel thus eliminating the time and expense of removing the dash pad and other interior parts to replace the bezel. The bezel comes in black and is textured to help reduce glare, special adhesive and instructions, and can be installed in 15 minutes or less and looks just like OEM. Would love to see pics of the piece installed. I have a crack in the bezel of my Z. I also have the replacement bezel, but have been reluctant to tear the dash out.

Ronc5, I hope to have my bezels by July. The mold was completed on Fri. and first run off should be next week. RonC5, I just received a sample run of the new bezel, it really looks great. I am going to the manufacturing plant on JULY 9, I would like the bezel to have a little less gloss so they are going to do another run using a lower temperature in the molding process. I want this to be a quality product and will make every effort to do so. I will keep you posted- not too much longer. Thanks Ray@RPFvette02

Corvette Forum has a post for the Retrofit kit, under C5 Hud Bezel Retrofit Kit install review. Look and see what this kit did for a really bad cracked Z06 hud bezel.
